Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Programme 2024 is a merit-based scholarship initiative of the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation (a non-profit organisation set up by an endowment from Mr. Narotam Sekhsaria) to financially support meritorious Indian students who are willing to pursue higher studies from top-ranking institutions in India and abroad.

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation, a non-profit organization, was founded through an endowment from Mr. Narotam Sekhsaria, a visionary entrepreneur deeply committed to social causes.
A distinguished graduate of the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), Mr. Sekhsaria played a pivotal role in elevating Gujarat Ambuja Cements to become the most efficient cement company in India.
In 2002, he established the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation to engage in activities related to health, education, and employment generation. The foundation designs its own programs and collaborates with other organizations to support their projects.
The inception of this scholarship program reflects Mr. Sekhsaria’s vision to identify and nurture intellectual excellence.
Through its postgraduate scholarship initiative, the Foundation aims to empower deserving students to pursue advanced studies at prestigious institutions in India and abroad.

Eligibility
Open for Indian citizens under 30 (as of January 31st, 2024) who have completed or are nearing completion of their graduate degree from an accredited Indian university. Applicants must have enrolled in postgraduate degrees at top institutions in India or abroad, starting Fall 2024. Even applicants awaiting university acceptance can apply, but the scholarship is conditional upon securing admission.
Mentoring Programme of Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship
Chosen scholars are paired with mentors who guide them in their professional development and inspire them to pursue excellence. Over time, our anticipation is that those who benefit from mentoring will, in turn, take on the responsibility of mentoring the upcoming generation of scholars. The objective of our mentorship program is to establish a community of scholars capable of leveraging each other’s strengths and knowledge.
