Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
The Post-Doctoral Fellow will be involved in the SNAIL project, which explores high-performance hydrophobic suberin nanoparticles for liquid-air biphasic droplets in food and therapeutics. Key responsibilities include:
- Production and characterization of suberin nanoparticles.
- Synthesis and purification of ionic liquids.
- Microscopic analysis using confocal and fluorescent microscopy.
- Supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
- Training in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Project Detail
The project aims to develop high-performance antibubble systems using suberin hydrophobic nanoparticles. The research involves:
- Synthesis and fractionation of suberin nanoparticles.
- Characterization of their chemical and microscopic properties.
- Testing their performance as antibubble stabilizers.
Eligibility/Qualification
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in Physical Chemistry, Biophysics, or related fields.
- Experience in materials characterization (FTIR, mass spectrometry, SEM/TEM).
- Knowledge of encapsulation technologies and microscopy.
- Proficiency in English.
- High motivation for applied research and entrepreneurship.

Compensation/Salary
