Job Summary:
The post-doctoral fellow will focus on studying the spatial variation of microscopic structures in plant seeds using X-ray scattering, fluorescence, tomography, and microscopy. Key responsibilities include experimental preparation, data analysis, and collaboration with other researchers.
Project Detail:
The project aims to optimize protein extraction from plant seeds for sustainable food production. It involves using advanced imaging techniques to understand the microscopic structures that influence protein extraction efficiency.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (completed within the last three years)
- Proficiency in English (CEFR B22 level)
- Compliance with MSCA mobility rules
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with X-ray diffraction and large-scale facilities
- Proficiency in data analysis using Python or Matlab
- Proven scientific writing skills
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong collaborative skills
- Ability to conduct high-quality research
- Experience:
- Research in relevant methods and large data sets
